Steven writes:

Since I stepped on this land as a new immigrant, Ronda has accompanied me along the way, witnessed all my ups and downs, helped me on the important events happened in my life: College, Conversion, Marriage, Business, and more.

Thanks to her personal experiences and extensive knowledge and skills of communicating with people from different walks and culture, she can well understand me and navigate me through either a confusing situation or a predicament. The gift more important than her skills is her natural empathy to the person sitting beside her. I always feel comfortable and secure to talk to her, and pour out my concerns, worries, and embarrassment.

Life is a trial. And we need family members and friends to travel with us. In this journey, long or short, happy or sorrowful, Ronda could definitely become one of such a great friend.

Alice writes:

Ronda has been a great help to me.  Dealing with the side effects of losing a loved one is a very individualized journey.

Lots of materials have been written to offer advice, suggestions and other articles to read.  I’m sure these are all good but a real human is so much better, especially if they have the training, background and personality to help you along this road.

Knowing when to talk and when to let you talk is so important.  Ronda is gentle, informative, focused and does not give you any ‘guilt’ trips, ‘why didn’t I do that?’ or ‘maybe I should have’ issues to deal with also.  Our load is already heavy and the road is uncharted.  She was/is an amazing listener.  Thanks, Ronda!

Jennifer writes:

When I was going through my divorce, I found myself craving time with Ronda. She was a calm, reassuring guide to help me remember and reclaim my strength. Her easiness and kindness helped me in a time where there seemed to be a lot of voices shouting in my head. She helped me to relax and refocus on becoming who I really wanted to be after my divorce.

Your time spent with Ronda will be akin to a retreat… a small respite from the noise in your mind that will lead you to answers and positive change you seek.

I have known Ronda for years both as a friend and as a professional colleague.  Should you be the one so fortunate to allow her to accompany you on your life’s path, you will soon realize the insightful, healing benefits of this traveling companion.  A skilled listener, she patiently allows time to express one’s story and to process it…often discussing something many times before the journey progresses to a different direction.

Compassionate and nonjudgmental, you will feel her genuine care and positive regard.  Because of her own life’s journey, she has turned difficult and challenging experiences into an opportunity for personal growth which you will sense as she hears with empathetic understanding.

Discrete, she can be trusted with one’s confidentiality and intimate concerns.  Intuitive and authentic, Ronda expresses genuine concern as she gains your trust and acceptance.  A believer in the capacity for change, she will offer sage advice and timely encouragement knowing hope has no limits.  To one facing challenges on life’s journey, I highly recommend bringing Ronda along with you.

Cortney writes:

Ronda has seen me though nearly every major transition a person can go through. Ronda has helped me through many difficult life changes, not only holding my hand and being a physical presence, but she has listened and reminded me how to help myself. Sometimes when you are under immense pressure, or traumatic stress, you doubt yourself.

Ronda has been there with me reminding me that I can do hard things, and listening to me work through my problems.  She was courageous enough to tell me under sensitive circumstances that I was the cause of at least part of my suffering – which was truth, and the hard truth was what I needed at the time.

About Ronda Walker Weaver

As someone who has faced a lifetime of transition–rearing a family, moving across the country, experiencing cultural changes, faith transitions, divorce, second marriage, step-parenting, cancer, loss of loved ones, and career re-evaluations, I get it. There have been many times in my life when I wished I had someone to travel the unpaved road with me–someone who had been there, who understood my fears, my hopes, and my anxiety.

I am a Board Certified Clinical Chaplain, a Pastoral Counselor, a college professor, and I have had more than my fair-share of transitions. I get the desire to talk with someone, anyone who would help me make sense of my life choices as well as guide me as I stumbled through the thicket of unexpected’s. And that’s what I can offer you–a listening ear, an educated and experienced mind, and a soul that will connect with yours and travel with you through the transitions you are experiencing.
